so far...I'm loving this season of Deadliest Catch...
first it started off with a boat going down....unfortunately 3 people died...
last week.... one crew member on the Wizard damn severed a finger...they ended up taking him into Dutch Harbor to get professional help...he'll keep the finger...but is on galley duty til he heals a bit more...
On the Time Bandit...a crew member smacked the fuck out if his funny bone...he'll be fine...but they had to let the green horn work the rail...and he kept screwing up and putting himself in deadly situations...he'll get it figured out..hopefully before he gets killed...
The Northwestern is off teh crab...which has a crew member worried... cause he has a court date... he just now told Sig..Sig wasn't happy...if the guy misses the court date...he'll do at least 8 month...
Phil from teh Cornelia Marie was being the nice guy he is...told Blake (newbie capt of teh maverick) where a good spot to fish was.... and told him not to tell others...Blake agrees...then turns around and tells another capt about it... Phil was listening in on the radio... BIG mistake for Blake...
Phil found a maverick pot...emptied it for him (it was full and that cost Blake about 3000 bucks alone) welded the door shut..and put the bridle on the opposite end so they'd have to man handle the 800lb pot to turn it around the right way....
Since the time bandit is hitting low numbers... they decided to initiate their green horn.... by placing 5lbs of flour in a garbage bag and tying that to the rope connected to the pot... as the rope is pulled on board... it busted throwing flour all over the guy...he laughed along with the rest of the crew...and then since he's the new guy... he got to clean up the mess ...
The Farwest leader was OFF the crab... his wife Ragnald told him she could tell him where the crab were...to shut her up he agreed to let her pick the spot....well... maybe he should let her pick the spots...cause she was ON the crab and had full pots on teh entire string...
yeah.... this season is great so far.... it has to be for me to make a post like this about it
